During the month of March, Firefighters' associations from Catalonia formed the entity 'Bombers x Ucraïna'. A group willing to mobilize and prepare aid expeditions to Ukraine to bring humanitarian equipment and offer transportation to refugees.
Vallfirest has made a donation of 124 new gears, including helmets, boots and flashlights, which will be delivered this April on the entity's third expedition to Kyiv.
Vallfirest released a statement on his social networks in early March, with the hashtag #WeStandForPeace, making a statement on the Russian invasion.
"At Vallfirest we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that allow firefighting men and women to safely and effectively protect our society and the forestry ecosystems from the dammaging effects of wildfires. The current situation in Europe is extremely painful and worrying. We strongly believe that our only fight should be against climate crisis. We hope for an end to the Russian invasion."
